VOLVO Returns! - GT500 NSX & More | 5 New Silhouettes for Gran Turismo 7 | GT7 May 1.48 Update
h0ngcom:
Wikipedia said "On 23 December 2009, Ford confirmed the terms of the sale to Geely had been settled. A definitive agreement was signed on 28 March 2010, for US$1.8 billion. The European Commission and China's Ministry of Commerce approved the deal on 6 and 29 July 2010, respectively. The deal closed on 2 August 2010 with Geely paying..."
Now Volvo is in the Geely universe.
Wikipedia said "Volvo V40 is a small family car (C-segment in Europe) manufactured and marketed by Volvo Cars from 2012 to 2019."
So the V40 is released in the Geely Volvo era.
Then, I (h0ngcom) say, Congratulations to Geely for become the first Chinese car company to break the "Japanese wall" of the Gran Turismo universe and Polyphony Digital. (Even that it is Volvo, which is European car brand, not a brand that created by a Chinese company.)
Geely won. BYD and all other Chinese companies lost.
In other words, Team Li Shufu won. Team Wang Chuanfu and other teams lost.
For the game worlds, a famous/legacy car brand is better than a new car brand, to make a game company (from a different country/nationality) recognize and accept it.

Toyota tells dealers it has better cars than BYD after they complain daily!
Not Thailand's dealers for sure. Toyota car models are still the very best sellers in Thailand.

The fastest growing EV maker in the world is NO longer BYD
It is Geely. H0ngcom think the real BYD rival is not Tesla. It is Geely.

Toyota will stop using its 'old' hybrid tech and switch to new BYD systems

Toyota Hilux v Isuzu D-MAX: OFF-ROAD CHALLENGE!
h0ngcom --> If they have no British license plates, you might think that this video was shot in Thailand.
These two cars look very Thai to me.

Why American Automakers Are Failing In China
h0ngcom --> My first topic: American cars are not failing in medias.
(Dodge cars are looking very good in many movies, not just in Fast and Furious films. That makes me want one. Unfortunately, Stellantis selling Peugeot and Jeep in Thailand, currently not Dodge.)
But Chinese cars are almost not existed in them. Of course, it NEVER existed in Japanese animes and Japanese racing games.
I love the SRT Tomahawk X. It should be exist in the reality.
My second topic: Thai EV market has no ChineseEV killers yet. GM Chevy left Thailand too soon. Just before the EV era in Thailand. (GM has some EV products in the US.) Ford doesn't sell EVs in Thailand officially yet too.
