Will BYD take over the Australian ute and truck market? Is it an option? #byd #eV #hybrid
He think it is possible, but I don't think so because it doesn't have the single cab version and extra cab version.
This is a point-of-view from Thailand from me, so it maybe wrong for Australia. Both single cab pick-up and extra cab pick-up are count as personal (pick-up) truck by the Thai car law, that has lower annual tax than personal passenger car (four-doors pick-up is a passenger car by the Thai law)).
Another reason is Shark PHEV is a gasoline car, not diesel car like the other pick-ups, and people may think the 1.5 litre engine is too small for a big car like the Shark.
