Now that the Cadillac "Lyriq" has joined F1, why not the BYD "Song"?
Actually, there are many other world-famous motorsport events that don't require the massive investment like building a Formula 1 team, and can use race cars that similar to cars that sale to public. It would likely be a much better advertising strategy, especially since BYD is already heavily advertising the brand and its cars. --h0ngcom.
Even some American people are facing the problem of rising gas prices!
Based on recent exchange rates and conversion factors, 4.14 USD per gallon in Florida is approximately 34.81 THB per litre, which is still significantly cheaper than the gas prices in Thailand.
(Today, "Gasohol 95" (octane 95 E10) is 42.95 THB/litre. E20 is 35.95 THB/litre. In practice, most people don't use pure gasoline anymore. Diesel is 44.40 THB/litre.)
This doesn't even take into account that American people have many times higher incomes than Thai people, making gas cars perfectly suited for use in the United States.
Linghui brand = commercial grade car (taxi / ridesharing)
There are many cases in Thailand that BYD EVs (and also other Chinese EVs) got battery failure or motor failure after 160,000 kilometers (normal warranty mileage exceeded) or after 200,000 kilometers. So this extraordinary high mileage warranties should be available in Thailand.
I guess Linghui cars and that extraordinary high mileage warranties are not available for normal buyers.
