สปส.ยันข้อมูลเท็จ อย่าหลงเชื่อ! กรณี “เลือกตั้งบอร์ดประกันสังคม” เผยแพร่ผิดกฎหมาย

สปส. เตือนประชาชน ตรวจสอบข้อเท็จจริงก่อนแชร์ข้อมูลออนไลน์ประเด็น “เลือกตั้งบอร์ดประกันสังคม”   ย้ำ หากเผยแพร่ข้อมูลเท็จ มีความผิดตามกฎหมาย            

สำนักงานประกันสังคม(สปส.) เตือนประชาชนให้ใช้วิจารณญาณในการรับข้อมูลข่าวสารผ่านสื่อสังคมออนไลน์ โดยเฉพาะในช่วงสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งมีการจัดการเลือกตั้งคณะกรรมการประกันสังคม และมีการเผยแพร่ข้อมูลข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับการเลือกตั้งผ่านสื่อสังคมออนไลน์เป็นจำนวนมาก ทั้งข้อมูลที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อประชาชนและข้อมูลบางส่วนที่อาจสร้างความสับสนหรือทำให้เกิดความเข้าใจคลาดเคลื่อนในสังคม จึงขอให้ประชาชนตรวจสอบข้อเท็จจริงและแหล่งที่มาของข้อมูลให้ชัดเจนก่อนเผยแพร่ต่อ เพื่อป้องกันการส่งต่อข้อมูลที่ไม่ถูกต้อง

กรณีมีการเผยแพร่ข้อความผ่านสื่อสังคมออนไลน์ที่สำนักงานประกันสังคมระบุว่าเป็นข้อมูลบิดเบือนและไม่ตรงกับข้อเท็จจริงนั้น ผู้ดูแลระบบของสำนักงานประกันสังคมได้ชี้แจงข้อเท็จจริง พร้อมขอความร่วมมือให้ผู้เผยแพร่ลบข้อความดังกล่าว เพื่อป้องกันการส่งต่อข้อมูลที่อาจทำให้ประชาชนเข้าใจคลาดเคลื่อน

ทั้งนี้ การนำเข้าหรือเผยแพร่ข้อมูลเท็จผ่านระบบคอมพิวเตอร์อาจมีความผิดตามพระราชบัญญัติว่าด้วยการกระทำความผิดเกี่ยวกับคอมพิวเตอร์ พ.ศ. 2550 และที่แก้ไขเพิ่มเติม หากเข้าข่ายองค์ประกอบความผิดตามกฎหมาย โดยการนำเข้าข้อมูลเท็จบางประเภทอาจเกี่ยวข้องกับมาตรา 14 (1) และการเผยแพร่หรือส่งต่อข้อมูลดังกล่าวทั้งที่รู้อยู่แล้วว่าเป็นข้อมูลตามมาตรา 14 (1) อาจเข้าข่ายมาตรา 14 (5) อย่างไรก็ตาม การพิจารณาความผิดต้องดูเนื้อหา เจตนา และข้อเท็จจริงของแต่ละกรณีประกอบกัน ไม่ใช่ข้อมูลที่คลาดเคลื่อนทุกกรณีจะถือว่ามีความผิดตามกฎหมายโดยอัตโนมัติ

สำนักงานประกันสังคมจึงขอความร่วมมือประชาชนตรวจสอบข้อมูลจากแหล่งข่าวที่เชื่อถือได้ หรือช่องทางประชาสัมพันธ์อย่างเป็นทางการของหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องก่อนเผยแพร่หรือส่งต่อ หากพบข้อความที่น่าสงสัยหรือยังไม่มีหลักฐานยืนยัน ขอให้งดแชร์จนกว่าจะตรวจสอบข้อเท็จจริงอย่างชัดเจน เพื่อร่วมกันลดการเผยแพร่ข้อมูลที่ไม่ถูกต้องและสร้างความเข้าใจที่ตรงกันในสังคม
