h0ngcom think he underestimated conservative-car buyers and pro-America people. Very few people will buy Chinese cr@ps. So they (Chinese automakers) can't put ALL out of business.

They Tried To Erase the EV1 From History. We Saved it From a Junkyard!
h0ngcom think they are so lucky, the luckiest ever, to found the legendary EV one from a car junkyard, because almost all of the GM EV1 are destroyed.
h0ngcom always believe that GM exited Thailand in 2020 is wrong. One of reasons is GM's EV products. GM has some EV products but it doesn't not release them here to "kill" Chinese automakers.
h0ngcom think the Thailand's EV era is really started with MG ZS EV in 2019.
GM can fight them. GM can fight MG. GM can fight Chinese cars. American cars always better. But GM didn't fight (in Thailand).
Китаец прогнил изнутри за год простоя. Делаю ТО на Hongqi E-QM 5
Title: "The Chinese car has rotted from the inside after a year of inactivity. I'm doing maintenance on a Hongqi E-QM 5."
H0ngcom think, even Hongqi, the most legendary Chinese car brand, sucks, so we can't have trusts in any Chinese cars!

H0ngcom thinks, yes, it can! If Toyota can release EVs with solid-state batteries as Toyota plans, then BYD is the next Kodak/Nokia immediately!
Solid-state batteries seem to be the game changers, making EV battery packs safer, less expensive, and longer life. But BYD seems to be sticking with its battery innovation.
By the brand and the brand's nationality: Many people around the world have always believed in Toyota and Japanese cars.
There are many people that still don't want EVs yet. When EVs are widely accepted and become really normal things like the fuel cars today, they may considering EVs. At that time, Toyota EVs are already available. I'm sure car-conservative people aren't buy a Chinese one because legacy car brands are available.
