Is this anti-China media report the truth? I guess this is another Falun Gong's media. I don't like them. Their anti-China is too much for me. But, yes, BYD is always a joke to me, is always a joke to Japan and many wheres, and is always a joke to legacy/legendary automakers. However, some jokes are serious and not funny. Why is Toyota's electric car called bZ? H0ngcom would say, "Because bY is a joke, they act like bY is never exist."
The viral images of China's EV graveyard... The EVs in it maybe very outdated. Bad batteries. The taxi company or the car-sharing company is bankrupted. Etc. Many possible reasons to made the EV graveyards. America and some countries have car graveyards too, why they are not jokes?
The thousand of BYD cars in a park are still new, so I think it is overstocked, or many customers cancelled the orders, not "trash". Too pricey to be "trash".

H0ngcom think it will happen in Russia, as the major car manufacturers withdraw from Russia, allowing Chinese manufacturers to take their place. But because there is no competition, the cars are bad. With Russia's harsh climates and car usages, it is clear that Chinese cars are not durable enough. Most of the Russians complain or reject Chinese cars. The people want Japan/Western cars to come back.

In the first four months of 2025, Chinese car exports to Russia were just 155,000 units, nearly half the 305,000 units recorded in the same period in 2024. In April in particular, Chinese car sales in Russia fell by approximately 70%, a sharp decline from their peak.
Just a year ago, Chinese cars were sweeping the streets of Russia, occupying a 68% market share and far surpassing the local brand, Lada.
