H0ngcom's comment : Don't be surprised that the EV campaign has not been very successful in Thailand, since the fire incidents still happening and making the news.

The current situation, fuel shortage and the fuel prices raise, are forcing some people to buy EVs, but EVs are still not so safe, and still worse than gas cars in many aspects.
Since the Prime Minister just bought a new electric car, what would happen if his new EV caught fire like this?
1. The Prime Minister and the Government would become more aware of the safety risks of EVs. The government may enact laws or regulations that provide more support to gas car users and buyers.
2. The public would firmly believe that EVs are unsafe, because even the Prime Minister's EV is unsafe.

H0ngcom think there are many better EV brands and models that suits him much more!!! He should buy that instead.

B*D is so generic right now. I think it is not suit a billionaire like him.
For that same amount of money, my only option right now is a 2026 Land Cruiser FJ only, because I honestly believe that it will last long 30-50 years, even after I die! I don't like that many Chinese EVs doesn't long lasting.
