A news from Workpointnews 23

The headline is "Electric car catches fire; rescuers rush to spray water, narrowly preventing it from being completely destroyed."

H0ngcom's comment : Don't be surprised that the EV campaign has not been very successful in Thailand, since the fire incidents still happening and making the news.

Anti-EVs = 1,  EV evangelists = 0

https://www.bangkokpost.com/business/motoring/3207860/volvo-recalls-evs-due-to-overheating-batteries wrote "Volvo Car Thailand has announced the recall of 1,668 units of its EX30 electric sports utility vehicles in Thailand due to overheating risks in the battery packs."

Oh man! Even Volvo is not safe from fires! What EV brands to trust? -- h0ngcom.

The current situation, fuel shortage and the fuel prices raise, are forcing some people to buy EVs, but EVs are still not so safe, and still worse than gas cars in many aspects.

Since the Prime Minister just bought a new electric car, what would happen if his new EV caught fire like this?

1. The Prime Minister and the Government would become more aware of the safety risks of EVs. The government may enact laws or regulations that provide more support to gas car users and buyers.

2. The public would firmly believe that EVs are unsafe, because even the Prime Minister's EV is unsafe.
