This may be an example of Japanese manga that may be racist towards Chinese ethnicity/nationality people, as the mangaka (the manga artist) intentionally draw the Chinese ethnicity/nationality characters in that style. However, it might be nothing if considered simply just the language of cartoons to convey the characters' ethnicity/nationality. --h0ngcom.
