Is it true? I don't think so.  

Video footage(s) from a Japanese show is included, with original Japanese sounds. I am not sure if the sound is cut or edited. And I don't know what is the original video/program/channel of this. Skip to 4:32.

But I think a Toyota engineer will not speak like that.

A Japanese TV program will not speak that too.

However, there has also been criticism that Japanese TV shows and news are not anti-Chinese cars, and sometimes they seem to be supportive, which contradicts the general Japanese people's sentiments.
