Since it is Pokemon, I can't ignore about it.
However, I can't afford Switch2.
And I am not Indonesian / Malaysian / Filipino / Bruneian / Timorese / Papua New Guinean.
Someone said Pokemon Winds and Waves is based on Southeast Asia. I think it is not. It is just "based on Indonesia" or "based on the southern part of Southeast Asia".
We, the 5 countries north of Malaysia seems to be excluded from this game.
I think I don't play this game.
Pokemon chose them, not us...
Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh regions are Japan. It is very understandable.
Unova = Eastern USA (such as New York, etc.)
Alola = Hawaii
Kalos = France
Galar = United Kingdom / Great Britain
Paldea = Iberian Peninsula (Spain, Portugal, Andorra, Gibraltar)
It is very understandable too, since they are the Western world.
So, I think it is very good news to me that a Japanese game company REALLY/TRULY recognizing some Asian countries outside Japan. Like when GT7 recognizing Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
(However, GT7 put it into "Europe and Middle East" circuits (same page as European circuits and just added the Middle East word) so "Asia" circuits are only Japan circuits available as before.)
I just think I don't play this game.
Because Pokemon chose them, not us...
Some sources think the southern Thailand (near Malaysia) may be included too. But I don't guess so.
