Ignoring the Global EV shift is Threatening the U.S. Economy Say Experts

h0ngcom don't think so, because the US economics and social systems are truly more suited to internal combustion engine vehicles than EVs.

For example,

They need cars with long driving range and quick refueling,

Fuels in the US are very cheap, and electricity is more expensive.

EVs in the US are so expensive, making them unsaleable then makers cancelled them.

Used EV prices drop significantly, while internal combustion engine cars depreciate more slowly. Some legendary models even retain their original price or even increase in resale value (this happens in Thailand as well). EVs can't achieve this yet because there aren't any legendary models or a level of popularity that allows owners to set prices they want.

Many people considered EV is a kind of Woke. GO EV GO BROKE.

Some EV medias are also too Woke, radical leftist.

Last but not least, don't underestimate the conservative people.

Many people can afford EVs, but they don't buy them because they don't want to and/or they don't like them.

In Thailand, now, there is the government's inability to resolve the high fuel price crisis (however, h0ngcom am still confident that if that Woke party is the government instead of Bhumjaithai Party, it is much worse.)
Someone suggesting Thai people buy EVs isn't the most right solution. (It's also left.)
The rich Prime Minister bought and use an EV immediately looks like he makes himself above the crisis.
This crisis will soon pass! We don't need to buy EVs right now like him!
